Scoop - Fully electrically powered assembly machine
For the first time in our three-year history, we are building a fully electrically powered assembly machine. Speed and contamination are the main reasons not to choose pneumatics. The machine is built entirely around the latest generation of electric actuators from SMC. The machine will soon assemble a product for the food industry in a clean environment. At this point the mechanics and controls have come a long way. This week the field cabling will be installed and then a test run starting next week.
