A successful redesign of the Foammaster
Over the past year, we have worked hard on the redesign of the Foammaster. The first systems of the new generation were installed at the SeaTank Terminal in Antwerp in recent months. And with success. During the acceptance test conducted by ANPI, the new Foammaster achieved the maximum score on all points!
During the redesign, we initially went all the way back to basic.
How can you successfully mix the different foam types with widely varying viscosities and operating conditions in a wide range? This process research and the subsequent development of new algorithms and associated control loops took more than six months.
These findings were subsequently translated into a new system design. The entire system was redesigned hydraulically, electrically and software-wise.
In this case too, we have set up the whole thing parametrically. We can now determine the configuration of a system almost completely automatical from a simple Excel sheet.
