About the function

As Project Manager High Tech Systems you are responsible for realizing the projects we do for the High Tech industry and Semicon. These are often complex mechatronic systems, often on the edge of what is technically possible with challenges in the field of sub-micron motion control, complex control software, (thermal) stability, contamination and optics. At least as challenging is the coordination of the activities within your own team, the collaboration with the client and other parties with whom we often work together in these projects.

What are you responsible for?

Leading the project with final responsibility for content, time and money. Developing calculations, project plans and schedules. Providing communication with the client. Directing, coordinating and supervising all involved project employees of the involved disciplines, both internally and externally, from start to finish:

• Preliminary studies, feasibility studies, specifications;
• Concept, design and detailing; 
• Procurement; 
• Final responsibility for construction, testing and FAT; 
• Final responsibility for installation, commissioning and SAT;

What do we expect from you?

• An education at HBO or WO level. Several years (4-6) demonstrable experience in a mechatronic development environment in the High Tech and/or Semiconductor industry.
• You have proven leadership skills or a healthy ambition to develop them now.
• You are analytically strong, proactive, can distinguish between main and secondary issues and you have a solution-oriented attitude.
• You are enthusiastic and open to the ideas of others.
• You are able to proactively translate customer needs into concrete solutions and services.
• You are practical and pragmatic and even enjoy supervising matters in our workshop.
• You are representative and a full-fledged discussion partner for our customers and partners.
• You can communicate well in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
